How to Make an Ice Tiramisu Latte at Home
Tiramisu Latte Ingredients
- Espresso – I use one Induction Moka Pot. See recipe notes for instant coffee.
- Unsweetened cocoa powder – For enhanced espresso and dust removal
- ice
- milk – I use whole milk, but you can use any milk of your choice
- Mascarpone cheese
- Double cream
- Ice sugar
- Vanilla extract
Recipe Notes
- If you don’t have any coffee maker or equipment to make espresso and instead use instant coffee, mix 2 teaspoons of instant coffee with ¼ cup of hot water. Instant coffee doesn’t completely replicate the taste of a quality espresso, but this approach is close enough.
- Baked cocoa powder is usually free of sugar and perfectly enhances the body and flavor of the coffee for this recipe. Don’t use instant chocolate powder instead.
- Make sure to stir the mascarpone cream properly until soft peaks form before bringing the top of it to the latte. If the whip is insufficient, the cream layer will be too dense and sink into the latte.
- Hot espresso also melts cream toppings. Let the espresso cool for 1-2 minutes is ideal and keep your presentation in point!
