Katar Airways will open its first U.S. lounge in 2026 in the new terminal of Kennedy Airport in New York. Qatar transfers its New York operations to Terminal 1 from 2026.
The 15,000-square-foot lounge will be directly accessed to the airline’s check-in doors, including premium food and beverage options, VIP check-in services, relaxation areas, prayer rooms, prayer rooms and shopping for Qatar Airways business-grade passengers.
New Terminal 1 is part of the New York Port Authority, as well as New Jersey’s $19 billion investment in Kennedy International Airport.
Qatar currently operates 18 U.S. flights per week and serves 11 destinations.
