Portbello National Park in Panama is now home to Odovic Beach Resort, a 47-room luxury property located in Isla Grande.
The project was a $31.5 million renovation of the former Banana Village Resort. The resort is now home to overwater bungalows and on-site helicopters.
Ordovician has three dining concepts: the Shell Bistro dining all day, the El Acuario and Rick’s Cafe Americain, which are known as the water-poured snack bar. The resort says more than 90% of its produce comes from on-site organic gardens.
Additionally, the resort touts private beach access; activity options such as snorkeling, wildlife encounters and sea sports fishing; and wellness facilities including cryotherapy, water flow yoga studio, sauna and spa.
The property plans to open a private diving center in September.
