Chair Airways launches Tuzla services, Boost Pristina and Skopje

Swiss Airlines Chair Airways will enter the Bosnia and Herzegovina markets next summer via flights between Zurich and Tuzla. The new service will begin on June 28 and operate twice a week on Thursday and Sunday. The rotation will be maintained on Thursday with Airbus A319 aircraft, while Sunday flights will be conducted by the A320. More details can be found
here. The chair has no competition on this route and will be the fourth operator to regularly serve Tuzla after the Wizz Air, Pegasus Airlines and AJET. In addition, the airport became the fourth airport offered by the former Yugoslav Chair Airways, complementing Pristina, Skoopje and Ohrid, which already has a strong presence.

The Chairman will develop its operations at Zurich-Pristina Service next summer, increasing its frequency to up to three per day. Starting June 28, the airline will add additional rotations on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Once a week on Sunday, there will also be an additional flight between Zurich and Skopje starting on the same date, a total of eight times a week. In the wider region, Chair Airways will introduce operations to Tirana and will also open flights to Albania’s latest airports on the country’s Adriatic Sea and Ionian coast, becoming its first airline to book.

As Chair Airways prepares to expand its fleet with its fourth A320 and overall fifth aircraft, network growth is to expand its fleet. As a result, the carrier is focusing on other new routes. “For the airline, fleet expansion is another milestone in our five-year history after we have successfully renovated all the cabins. Our scale allows us to meet new market and customer needs quickly and flexibly.” The airline added: “Other destinations and starting points in Bern and Zurich are being carefully evaluated and the market’s potential is being studied. We look forward to further steps. The Chairman has firmly established his position in the market with great visibility among Swiss Airlines.”

Commenting on the New Zurich service department, dževadalilčević said: “We are pleased to announce that Swiss Airlines will be conducting booked services in Tuzla. It is particularly worth mentioning, especially in other parts of Europe, in Tuzla Guangzhou.
