Is it worth it?
This is not your average hotel accommodation. That’s a bucket list destination in itself for us at least, and they’re not the Kardashians or the Zuckerberg of the world.
Whether the expenditure is only up to you. I saw a few years ago photos of it and knew one day I wanted to take pictures here. After working in the tourism industry for more than 10 years, it is ambition to stay here.
When chatting with some friends, the consensus is that after a certain price point, the service return or actual upgrade will be reduced a lot. After that, you have to pay for more privacy and exclusivity. But staying here feels like I live in a device with James Turrell Art.
With your room rates, almost everything is included except alcohol, spa treatments and private tours. It includes two of your guests, indoor refreshments with snacks, guided group hikes, group fitness classes, access to the fitness center and watering holes, internet, self-guided hikes, and customized itinerary planning services.
To me, Amangiri is definitely a dream.
Jacob? If only him, he wouldn’t have paid, but he told me it’s worth seeing me happy.
Will we stay here again?
We have a lot of other places to see and stay before considering a return visit. But that’s most places.
