ATPI’s 2025 Sustainability Report shows…

Travel and Event Management Company ATPI Group has released its second annual review to combat global activities, performance and outcomes targeting key environmental, social and governance reporting indicators.

The 2025 Sustainability Report covers the main reportable indicators for the 2024 calendar year, highlighting strong progress in ATPI’s carbon reduction efforts.

The company’s absolute reduction in range 1 and 2 emissions was 25%, but the total emissions per full-time employee decreased by 11%, from 1.86 tons of CO2E in 2023 to 1.65 tons in 2024.

During this period, ATPI also introduced internal carbon prices to accelerate its decarbonization strategy.

The program not only helps reduce carbon reduction, but also allows ATPI to continue to reinvest in decarbonization and compensation activities. In addition, the Group compensates 100% of its remaining emissions through various internationally recognized high convergence carbon shift projects.

In 2024, this includes investments in new programs such as the Biomass Everest Starch Facility in India and the Envira Amazonia Redd+ project in Brazil, as well as a wide range of projects supporting global climate action.

Corporate travel remains critical to global business and connectivity, but aviation is estimated to account for 2-3% of global CO2 emissions.

Since the start of the reporting period, ATPI considered this a priority area for decarbonization and thus invested 75 tons of SAF, accounting for 5% of ATPI’s business travel emissions in the previous year.

This has achieved this through a partnership with Neste, a leading global producer of sustainable aviation fuels. The 2025 report also incorporates emissions from ATPI data centers for the first time, reflecting the company’s progress in expanding its reportable footprint.

To further prioritize internal sustainability plans, 48% of the electricity consumed by ATPI offices now comes from renewable energy – a 5% increase since the last report.

ATPI also accelerated its company’s auto fleet to electric and hybrid models, with 38% of its vehicles updated, up from 29% in the previous year.

“This year’s report shows how we can continue to grow, empower and inspire through actions,” said Louisa Toure, Sustainability Officer at ATPI Group.

“We have reduced our reach, enhanced our culture, and empowered our clients to travel more responsibly.

“I am proud of how our people are driving this momentum, but our ambitions have not stopped and we are determined to further develop and lead the way to shape the future of sustainable travel.”

ATPI’s social sustainability supports its employees while aligning with the company’s broader goals. To enhance transparency and accountability, ATPI has introduced a new global employee database to enhance reporting, provide more insights into its workforce, and take meaningful action.

The report highlighted that the number of employees increased by 8%, globally, with women accounting for 60% and men accounting for 40%. Despite the traditionally women-dominated travel industry, ATPI is committed to embedding equality of opportunity in its culture and organizational structure.

The company also continues to surpass the global benchmark for pay equality. The gap with an estimated global gender pay is 20%, and ATPI reports that the gap is only 9.9%.

Social sustainability also launched ATPI Inspires in 2024, a corporate initiative aimed at volunteering, well-being and community engagement. Employees volunteered to participate in the program for 1,276 hours, allowing ATPI to show “good intentions to you” value for life in its global network.

The group’s global people survey also reflects this human-oriented advantage, which found that 81% of employees believe they need to complete the learning and development they need to do their job effectively, 89% think they have a clear understanding of how their work contributes to the broader goals of ATPI, and 77% have a good understanding of ATPI’s sustainability program.

Ian Sinderson, CEO of ATPI Group, added: “2024 is a vibrant year for ATPI. We continue to grow throughout the region, both containing the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly growing travel landscape.

“As climate-related events such as extreme weather and environmental conditions shift, ATPI is committed to leading by example and guiding our customers towards smarter, more sustainable options.”

“Our values shape our behaviors and decisions, and by staying true to them, we strengthen our ATPI identity, promote a positive culture, and lay the foundation for long-term success.”
