Jiffy from Disney Cruise: What is Sleeping in Wonderland and Wonderland Cinema?

The movies are part of the ship’s regular entertainment lineup and the display is free. Head to the theater as needed and even watch the same movie twice. On most voyages, the schedule will have 7-12 Disney and Pixar champions. And if you sail the day when Disney movies were released on land, you’ll find it’s on board the lineup that day! Most movies will be shown at least twice, and a few times, and the recent movies will have more performances.

The Neverland and Wonderland Theatre lineups were not released in advance, but you can call Disney to ask or Write to Plandisney Find out which movies will be shown during your cruise. After boarding, you can see the schedule of the entire sailing Disney Cruise Line Navigator Application. Start with the Explore tab of the app and move the top slider to ‘Movies and Theater’. Select Neverland Cinema or Wonderland Cinema and click on “Timetable” near the top. You will be able to browse the entire tour of the show.

You may find that it is easier to check all the performances of the onboard movie, no matter which the theater they are in. Click on the movie’s card (depending on where you start, it may look different from below). Then click on “Timetable” and browse to see everything. Whether they are in Neverland or Wonderland Theater or Walt Disney Theatre.

Typically, both Neverland and Wonderland Cinema will come from a release from the previous year, with older movies screenings on Funnelvision on the pool deck. However, in theme cruises, like a miraculous cruise day, older movies may be added to fit the theme. Sometimes, if a newly released sequel is played on the same tour, the first film in the series will have several “catch-up” performances. For a kid-friendly musical (think freeze), there may be a karaoke-style word “sing” on the screen. If you’re on a show, expect kids to sing loudly – but in my experience it does help avoid bold accompaniment in regular performances.

I did mention the full theatre experience with popcorn, right? There is a concession stand outside the theater. Options include popcorn, soda and cinema candy. If you’re going to watch more than one movie, a popcorn bucket that can be refilled may be a good choice. Prices range from $8 to $25 depending on the design. The first fill is free, with a high supplemental discount (about 60%) compared to the price of regular popcorn without buckets.
